POSITION SUMMARY:

Roynat Capital is currently seeking an Analyst for our Nova Scotia District Office in Dartmouth, NS with the ability to be mobile across Canada.

The Analyst Trainee position at Roynat Capital is designed to provide the candidate with coach-supported opportunities to learn, practice, apply and test the skills and knowledge required to confidently transition into positions throughout Roynat Capital's Canadian Operations group.

Throughout the 12 month Program, Analyst Trainees will gain a thorough understanding of Roynat Capital through the following activities:

Analytical Training - Topics include financial analysis, products & services, tools & technology
Roynat Capital Introduction - Job shadow rotations in other Roynat Capital areas including Risk Management, National Equity Group, and North American Private Equity Coverage, (as applicable)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Upon completion of the training program, the Analyst Trainee will demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
  • The ability to conduct an assimilation and analysis of financial information, financial modeling, due diligence, company and industry analysis and research and preparation of credit applications.
  • An in-depth knowledge of compliance, risk management policies and legal and security documentation.

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
  • The successful applicant must have an under/post graduate degree in a business, commerce, finance or economics-related discipline.
OTHER INFORMATION:

The training will take place in Dartmouth, NS. Upon completion of training, the incumbent will assume a position as a Senior Associate and must be mobile to assume a placement anywhere in Canada (offices are located in Toronto, Dartmouth, Vancouver, Moncton, St. John's, Sudbury, Burlington, Kitechener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg).
